I'm a big fan of many different genres of music ranging from death metal and grind core to classical music and German folk metal. Pretty much everywhere on the musical spectrum. Recently I discovered another band from Germany that (quite surprisingly) doesn't suck. They're called 'Tokio Hotel' (HERE (http://youtube.com/watch?v=zHtJvIy4daI) is a sample of their music). If you hate them...I don't care that's not what this thread is about. Anyway, their lead singer, Bill Kaulitz, has an interesting look to him (Pic) (http://twinskaulitz1989.blogdiario.com/img/billtomonoel.jpg) and a friend of mine said he looks like he should be singing death metal or some other metal music. I don't see it...could you honestly see something like THIS (http://youtube.com/watch?v=zGXFR2aRFJ4) coming out of Bill's mouth.

I'm not familiar with those genres, really. But metal musicians in lederhosen is something I'd pay a buck or two to see, just out of curiosity. :)

Yeah...when I first saw the band I thought he was a girl too until he started singing then I was like, "Wow...". And something else, this is the kicker, he's not gay either.

The voice was what convinced me he was a woman more than anything else, actually. :p Anyway, it sounds to me like the same top-40 pap we get here in the U.S., only in German. I'm not sure what the topic is beyond that - what was it again?

Whether he would cut it singing anything in the metal genre...just by going on a few samplings of what he sings now. My friend says he has the look, but I don't think so. I don't think anyone would take him seriously if he tried to sing something like THIS (http://youtube.com/watch?v=3AH79suFFk8). Even if he sung it well, it would just look funny coming from Bill.

No clue. I'm too old to know what they hell any of that is about. The black clothes and the eyeshadow and the new-age-looking hair looks more '80s to me than anything.
