I'm interested in finding out the CD's (well songs really), that map out your life. What are the songs that fit the special moments as below. Why not fill these in and give a bit of detail so we can all get to know each other a bit better.

First song/CD bought?
What song reminds you of your first love?
Your first pop crush?
Favourite love song?
Song you wish you'd written?

My answers are as follows.
First song/CD:
Simon & Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water (vinyl counts as well). Played it over and over and drove my family mad.
What song reminds you of your first love?
In reality: I hate to see you cry by Alan Hull - my first love and first heartbreak. If that's too obscure then Sorrow by David Bowie. Have blonde hair and eyes of blue - so there you go!
Your first pop crush?
Life's a gas by T.Rex. Man I sobbed when Marc died. Saw them in concert once - was so excited I threw up everywhere!
Favourite love song?
Set the fire to the third bar by Snow Patrol. Cannot hear this enough and always moves me.
Song you wish you'd written?
Those three days by Lucinda Williams. Again never tire of hearing it. If you've loved and lost then this sums it up for me.

So now it's over to you.

First song/CD bought?
The first album I bought was OK Computer by Radiohead, but it was on tape (for some reason), so the first CD I bought was the Spice Girls first album.

1. On CD, I *think* it was Babylon Zoo's Spaceman. But I might be wrong. However, the first song I bought was definitely Don't Stop (Wiggle Wiggle) by the Outhere Brothers, but that was on tape.
2. This is Yesterday by the Manics. Or at least, it used to. Not so much now, fortunately.
3. Gina G
4. I don't know if it's necessarily a love song, but Your Hand in Mine by Explosions in the Sky.
5. Most definitely, this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Yu_moia-oVI).

Alice Cooper - Hey Stoopid

This single was the first cd I ever bought, it certainly wasn't the last!

Powermad - Absolute Power

And this was the first cd album I picked up. I still like it a lot.

Napalm Death - Death By Manipulation

This British legend first introduced me to the not so gentle art of extreme rock music when I first heard their track "Pride Assassin" on the radio. It was only logical to make sure that my first Napalm Death purchase would contain that very track.

Song you wish you'd written?

1: First records would be the case, here. 2112, A Farewell To Kings, Hemispheres, Moving Pictures, and Warehouse: Songs And Stories. I still love these albums to death.

2: Celebrated Summer by Husker Du. There are many kinds of love, and Summer was my first... But, it was never as I thought it would be, and this song exemplifies that feeling.

3: 99 Luftballons. I still like it.

4: Friday I'm In Love by The Cure.

5: I can't say that I wish I'd written any of them, because my writing style is something that is completely my own. My favorite songs by my favorite bands still aren't much like what I write myself.

First song/CD bought? I can't remember, but it would have been something embarassing. The first vinyl I bought was "Louder Than Bombs" from the Smiths, which I'm quite proud of.
What song reminds you of your first love? Oh god, he's still in everything. Arcade Fire's "Funeral" (album) is probably the biggest one, because the first time we ever kissed (and I'd been in love with him for a long time before this), we were listening to a string quartet cover the entire album.
Your first pop crush? Zach Hansen.
Favourite love song? "Such Great Heights"-written by the Postal Service, but my favourite version is the Iron and Wine one.
Song you wish you'd written? Greensleeves. It would solve some mysteries for sure.
