Scottie doesn't know, that Leona and me do it in my van un Sundays. She said that she's in church, but she's on her knees, and Scottie doesn't know!!!-Eurotrip.

Anyhow, on to the point of my post. Former White House Press Secretary tells us what most of us already knew. 1. Bush used propoganda to sell the war in Iraq. 2. Libby, Rove, et al. did their best to make sure they had their stories synced up for the Plame Affair. So, with this revelation do you think Bush will firmly take http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0508/10649.htmlhis spot as one of the bottom 5 Presidents ever? Poll coming.

No President Bush was a good man, better than any other president.
sorry i couldn't say that with a straight face,:D. yes he's an idiot and bound to be the worst if not one of the worst.
what makes it even worse is he got into power twice, even though he got less votes than al gore last time round. Don't ask me how it works.

FRom Paul O'Neill to Scottie, the Bushes have a credibility problem. When you get this many people who know your work firsthand calling you a lying pile of shit, what does that make you?

Personally I prefer to speak of "pro-active and variable control measures against members of the opposition".

The White House response, "He's just disgruntled." Isn't that the same canned response they gave when Ari Fleicher didnn't lovingly recall his time in the White House. Isn't this the same response they give every time? Are we going to actually call them on their bullshit. Give them quotes like "disgruntled, vindictive, etc." and show how many times they've used them. Can they drag their stature down lower than it already is?

Who are these 26-31% of people who still have faith in this jagoff? Are they the less educated white folks Hillary has been doing so well with?

In the end there are still people who will not admit that "Propaganda" and lies were used to sell this war. These are also the same people who believe Saddam Hussein was the head of Al Queada and he personally sent his 72 virgins to the suicide bombers.

This is true, but then, the 21st century was already well under way on the day I was walking across Harvard University campus and heard a young woman behind me declare into her cell phone, "I don't understand how something I can't even see could make me sick!"

I guess my thought is, is any kind of stupidity or ignorance really shocking anymore?

The president isn't elected based on the popular vote, it is done through the electoral college
Currently, the Electoral College is composed of 538 electors. Each state has a number of electors equal to the number of its Senators and Representatives in the United States Congress. Additionally, the District of Columbia is given a number of electors equal to the number held by the smallest states. U.S. territories are not represented in the Electoral College.

Each elector casts two votes: one for President and one for Vice President. In order to be elected, a candidate must have a majority (currently 270) of the Electoral Votes. Should no candidate for President win a majority of the electoral votes, the choice is given to the House of Representatives. Should no candidate for Vice President possess a majority of the electoral votes, the choice is given to the Senate.

Wow, big news. GWB lied about the war in Iraq. None of us knew that. Really, we all blindly followed his words.

It certainly took them long enough.
