Twentieth-century political philosophy

Since the discussion in Neu Leonstein's thread (http://forums4.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=557265) on famous philosophers of the past started to touch on some more modern political philosophers and their merits, I decided (at HotRodia's urging) to start this thread as a way to avoid drawing that one too far off-topic.

Which political philosophers from the last century or so do you find interesting? Why?

Which ones do you agree with? Disagree with? Why?

(If you think those questions are poorly crafted--I certainly do--then make up your own. I just feel obliged to ask something in the OP. :))
