My Weird Habits

So I was here making myself something to drink and it occured to me.. not for the first time... that I have certain weird habits and I was wondering if I am unique in this. I know everybody has their weird habits do you share mine? And if not, what are some of your own?

Alright, so I should explain. I was pouring myself some orange sode and I did something I do quite frequently. I had some Jolly Ranchers so I put a bunch of them in the soda and drank it. Of course Orange soda doesn't work nearly as well as doing it with cola. Am I the only one who does this? Add candy to their pop?

I also have this weird habit of eating frozen food.... still frozen. Like fishsticks, chicken nuggets, and pizza. Frozen corn is good to and has a completly different taste then when it is cooked. Does anyone else do that?

Lastly, I can't stand plain rice. Not even a little. So I started adding salad dressing to it when we didn't have soy sauce. That's not terribly weird I know, but I've been told it's odd.

Does anyone share my weird habits or am I just a mutant freak?

I tend to mix my sodas. cola with lemon/lime, or Root Beer or some such.

I dismangle my meals, sandwiches get eaten in layers, pizza- toppings are eaten first then the crust, same with some pies.

no real reason, just something I do.

I don´t share your weird habits. You´re a mutant freak.

The only weird habit I have, that I know of is that I talk to inanimate objects like my piano. Oh, and I have lenghty conversations with myself. Sometimes, that´s the only way I can have an intelligent exchange at my workplace. That´s about it.

That's not weird. I'd call that healthy experimentation. Out of the ordinary, sure, but not weird(presuming one means weird to mean bad in this instance.)

I've a bunch of weird habits myself, many of them stemming from the fact that I lived as a social hermit for a year and a half...

I pour soda from a 2 liter bottle into a 1 liter bottle to drink. The 1 liter bottle fits my hand and pouring it reduces the carbonation to a drinkable level.

I used to do that in school. And when I was asked why I was talking to myself or some other object I told them exactly that. "It's the only way I get an intelligent conversation" or alternatively "Because me and the wall are fighting."

I do indeed add salad dressing to various foods, like rice, to make them edible when I have to eat them for whatever reason. Same with mustard.

And yes, I am often guilty of talking to myself. It's more entertaining than simply thinking to myself, I guess. I like to tell myself it's something smart people do, but I don't actually have any evidence to back that up.

I chew the sides of my mouth when I'm concentrating really well (I heard this was emotional masturbation ) and I also eat cold rice pudding straight from the can because I like the metally taste

Not THOSE habits, but I have a few. Drinking Coke from the bottle. the 2-liter bottle.

thats normal everyone does that (we just do it when nobody is looking)

Slathering everything in salt. Even Cereal.

only Maoists add salt to tea and that regime in China has killed millions!

I hate cars and cell phones. Two things that everybody else seems to find both wondrous and vital.

A lot of long conversations have started as a result of telling people that I have neither car nor phone. Alas, I eventually caved in and got both. I guess I just don't have the courage of my dubious convictions.

Everyone has odd habits. I'm told I have quite a few.

When I am eating a sandwich, if it is cut in half, I have to eat the bigger half second. Sometimes I'll intentionally cut it lopsided so that it makes it easy to tell. The only exception to this is when it is cut diagonally. In that case, I eat the curvy part first and the straight 90 degree angle part second.

When I eat pizza, I save the crust from my largest piece of pizza, and then I remove a bit of pepperoni and cheese from part of the last piece of pizza I eat and stick it on the end of the saved crust, and eat it in such a manner so as to eat the part with the pepperoni on it last.

I also number my socks. In pairs, so that the same two are always paired together.

I never worry when I have conversations with myself. It's when I'm left out of those conversations that I start to worry.

YOU'RE JUST LIKE HER!!!!

I'M NOT LIKE HER!!! IT'S ALWAYS ABOUT THE MONEY!!

IT'S NEVER ABOUT THE MONEY!!!!

My friend Orrin and I love doing that when he has company over, especially people that haven't heard us do it before. Like I'll say "Hey, man, I'm gonna get some chips out of the kitchen. YOU'RE JUST LIKE HER! IT'S ALWAYS ABOUT THE MONEY!!!"

Totally doesn't make any sense. It's great.

One habit people may consider odd, is when I'm eating cookies, it doesn't really matter what I'm drinking, I'll dunk the cookies in it. Orange juice, tea, milk, I have no preference. And I don't drink alcohol so at least it's not that.
