Houston is under attack from a previously unknown species of ant.

This was my favorite part...
And when you do kill these ants, the survivors turn it to their advantage: They pile up the dead, sometimes using them as a bridge to cross safely over surfaces treated with pesticide.

I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords, and wish to offer my services in rounding up my fellow humans to labor in their underground fungus mines.

Anyone else thinking of Starship Troopers?

You know... when the bugs were piling up at at the wall and the other bugs were climbing over the dead ones...

Have they destroyed any cities with space rocks yet?

They might eventually.

Well, if its only Houston, no need to go to war.

Well, if its only Houston, no need to go to war.

Maybe we could start contracting them out.

My idea to solve this crisis is to let loose thousands of ant eaters in Houston. Then all we need are some jackals. ;)

Simpsons did it.

I was wondering where I got that from. Then again, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting the Simpsons.

Now where did that saying come from?

Lucky you. That was 1995, if I remember correctly.

The killer bees were a diversion orchestrated by the ants. *nod*

That's what you think. It's a joint command. The killer bees were the initial wave. Aerial reconnaissance, air strikes to soften up the local defenders. Now the ants are here as ground troops to take and hold the terrain. Watch out for their waterborne assault. :p
