I hate commercial breaks. I despise them. Especially when you know it's no point zapping to another channel, as they now all show commercials at almost the same time.
But now and then, there's a little perk. A little gem like the one in the link below, clever, funny, brilliant.

I think the recent Specsavers ads are genius. I especialy like the one with the lumberjack and the power lines:

Not overtly funny but it amuses me nonetheless.

The enjoyed the EDS ad, but the fruity oaty bar ad, I dont always get japanese ads and i think this one went over the top of my head

Huh. Shows what I know... I saw 'bloody' and assumed...
The enjoyed the EDS ad, but the fruity oaty bar ad, I dont always get japanese ads and i think this one went over the top of my head

Yeah, but you see, my grandma is from York. I associate bloody with her, and thus with England.
When my sister and I were young, my mom didn't want to 'swear' (in American) in front of us, so she used some truly filthy things from British English when she wanted to swear. To this day, my grandma tells me that I swear like a British fishwife when I'm mad.

The add I showed was the 2006 Carlton Draught ad, entitled "Big Ad", I have posted on here the 2007 ad called "Flashbeer", not quite as funny but still good, I await their 2008 ad
