I've noted in other threads that while I strongly dislike a certain candidate, it's embarassing that the US hasn't had a female Pres. yet, regardless of politics.

So who can name some up and coming female Politicians who may be president?

McCain was born in 1274. I'm pretty sure he helped Spain kick out the Moors.

Condi Rice? Sarah Palin of Alaska? Janet Napolitano of Arizona? Kathleen Sebelius of Kansas? Elizabeth Dole? And yes, Nancy Pelosi.

Seriously, I like Kathleen Sebelius, Kansas's governor. She's a little on the old side too, but she seems to have a good head on her shoulders. She also gave the rebuttal to the President's State of the Union and did a decent job with it.

Condi Rice? ROFL.

There's no way the conservatives are voting for a black woman for president. Not a chance in hell. She'd never win the primary.

Mightn't it be more accurate to say that you are embarassed by the lack of a female President, rather than to represent the statement "it's embarassing that the US hasn't had a female Pres. yet" as an objective fact?

That's fairly clearly what he means in context anyway. So you're just nitpicking, probably in effort to either up your post count or because you think yourself witty.

Unlike yourself, I am not blessed with such crystal clear insight into people's motives that I can have such unshakable certainty about them based on a couple sentences. That's why I ask questions.

As for the other allegations, while I do consider myself fairly witty, I do not consider this to be an example of such. Nor do I give a rat's ass about 'post count.'

Honostly, I cant think of a female politican that could run and win that Id like to win.

I do quite like Nansy, but her age is an issue. Especially considering she wont be running for probably 8 years anyway.

Condi is a tool and wouldnt even pull the Conservative base vote. So, not only do I hate her, but her own party would hate her.

Im not up to date on other governers outside of IL, so I cant comment on that. And I cant think of any other former presidents wives who are worth mentioning.

Hmm...

Well, the ones already listed all have a decent chance. I can't think of any others at the moment.

Keep in mind that a trained monkey and satan's evil twin are the only things between Nancy Pelosi and the white house...

i cant think of possibilities of MALE candidates except those who have already run or, like bloomberg, have been touted by some pundits.

so im thinking that another good female candidate will come "out of the bue" when a powerful dynamic woman decides she has what it takes to win.
