Anyway, I suggest Salman Rushdie's works will be considered "classics", as should Terry Pratchett, not that he will of course.
If not already, J.R.R. Tolkien's work. I'm hoping for The Yiddish Policeman's Union, but not holding my breath.

Is Dune a classic yet? It's definitely worth reading in school.
