The thread on how old are you made me think about this. How well are you aging? Poll coming soon
(E.G. Do people think you are 5 years older, five years younger, etc)
EDIT: (Just noticed, 1,500th post)

Some people tend to say I´m lying when I tell them I´m 27. Many people think I´m 20-21 years. And in some ocassions, when I go clubbing, I´m still asked for my ID. I feel flattered.:p

I am in my mid-twenties, and I am regularly told that I look like a teenager. I have never been to a bar or liquor store without being carded, often multiple times, and I think I've only managed to buy a ticket for an R movie once without getting carded. I have even had a few people believe I am still in middle school (i.e. around 10-13 years old), which is a bit ridiculous, since as baby-faced as I may be, I am nonetheless demonstrably post-pubescent. :p
My friends tease me about my youthful appearance, but they generally shut up once I point out that they're going to hate it when we're all in our mid-forties but everyone thinks I'm 28. ;)

How are you aging? one year at a time.
people have thought me younger, but I don't really ask so...
Depending on how long it is since I shaved, anywhere from 17 to 24.
I'm 19 btw.

At 21, I have serious bags under my eyes, a permanently furrowed brow and my hair is slightly greying.
Mind you, that could be just because it's finals in 4 weeks time and my dissertation, due in this coming Friday, is still more than 2000 words over the limit.
I am, however, an hour younger on the forums than I appear in real life. Aren't time warps wonderful?

Way to damn old, I'm 17 and I already reflect on my youth as if I would be an old geezer, I talk like an old geezer and I feel like an old geezer because I'm expected to be a grown-up when I'm definatly not. It's a hard time for teens...
I'm 22 and I rarely get ID'd for clubs or in off licences, but it happens every now and then. People tell me I look about 20. Fine by me.

Most of the time I'm slightly younger. But it really all depends on how I dress up. In suit: slightly older. In clothes for going out, slightly younger.

People usually think I'm anywhere from 15 to 17, though I'm 20 years old in actuality. I guess I got my parents' aging genes.
My dad never looked his age. When he was 43, he looked maybe 30 years old. Same goes for my mom.

People usually think I'm a few years older...but it depends on both my facial hair and what I'm wearing at the time. If I'm dressed professionally, or have a full goatee, I look much older than if I'm wearing a t-shirt and jeans, or I'm clean shaven or just have a chinstrap.

I'm 18. Sometimes people think I'm 1 or 2 years younger, and sometimes people think I'm 1-4 years older.
Hmm.. if I'm not shaved people think I'm older, if I shave people think I'm in my late teens. So none of these options really work for me.

I always have a mustache and soul patch or full goatee... occasionally for reasons unknown to even me I'll shave off all my facial hair and then inevitably grow it back to the mustache and soul patch. Does that help?

There's been a couple of occasions when I've been asked my age when buying a bus ticket and I get asked for ID fairly consistently when buying alcohol, I'm 21 so between 3 and 6 years younger. Ironically people seem to think i'm younger when I haven't shaved (yes, I still can't grow proper facial hair:headbang:).

For the last 5 years or so most of the people who've commented have said that I looked to be "about 30" (I'm 37), but I seem to have gone into a fairly rapid decline over the last year.
When I was having my hair cut last week I noticed a fairly large patch on my head where it seems to be really quite thin all of a sudden, and I managed to get a sunburned scalp while playing golf at the weekend which was a new, and fairly unpleasant, experience.
Oh, and there's a streak of grey in both of my eyebrows, and a significant proportion of grey & white in my facial hair when I go without shaving for a few days.
The clock is ticking :p
Ugh, I'm retarded. I put 6-10 years older rather than younger.
It's the dementia, it must be.
Anyway, my brother and I took my kids to the store one day, and we had an old woman glaring at us the whole time...who then said to a fellow busy-body "teen parents, pffft".
:D
Anyway, I'm 30, and I'm tired of the conversation that goes:
"How old are you?"
"30."
"hahahah. No really."

It is indeed, sometimes especially if the person you are doing it to doesn't catch on...
Most of my life, people said I looked younger than I was. But the last few years, my bald spot has grown, and my remaining hairs are getting grey. :( I did have someone ask if I was 35 (I'm 47), but he was trying to sell me something. :p I'd say that I still look younger than my age, but the gap is getting smaller. :(
