See, smoldering is an adjective I would rarely, if ever, attribute to my voice. But thank you. :p

That's how I feel. Like, I think my voice is nice enough, and can sound sweet and pretty and all that, but smoldering just evokes a completely different sound in my mind. Ahh, well. :p

Although as it stands now the likely winner on the men's side will be Ifreann, and on the women's side its a dead heat between Neesika and Nanatsu.

Well, the people had to submit a voice sample, and then out of those that submitted voice samples the ones that received votes in the thread went into the poll. As it happens only ten people received any support in the thread.
