As for Australian, I know that's not an ethnicity, just like Spanish isn't. Australian, for me is a nationality and, since Amor has stated in several ocassions that she lives in Australia, I assumed she was Australian. Perhaps wrong of me because she could be a Brit living there. But that's only something Amor can clarify.:p

Admittedly, I used to listen to it, but now I listen more to 'indie' , hip-hop [such as: [i]The Way I Are, by Timbaland], rap [I have always liked rap] and classic rock. For the most part, 'Spanish' music like flamenco goes right over my head [those Camerón commercials make me want to jump off my terraza] and some of my friends are into ska, which I really don't like. I have all three of their albums; I bought their third one at Media Markt for like €5. My Chemical Romance is actually pretty good, considering they are one of the few bands in their style with a lead singer that can actually sing.

aw, 311 is actually local to me...not that it makes me like them I do actually enjoy their sound. Incubus has some bad songs i'll admit but they have one of my single most favorite songs "Aqueous Transmission." it has a japanese sound to it actually...or I guess my opinion of a japanese sound.

There is no archetypical Venezuelan, sorry.

Of all South American countries, we are one of the most ethnically diverse, given heavy inmigration first during the conquest, then during the 19th century, and finally between 1925-1955.

You can find here from pale to deep black skin. From natural redheads and blondes to curly black afros. The diversity and the middle mixes and grey areas amongst the population is awesome.

However, the average, as a rule of thumb, are lightly more fair of the skin and softer features than peruvians or ecuatorians, that have more quechua and aborigine heritage, and we have a lightly more european influence than the colombians, if just a bit. However, Colombians look more or less alike to us.

P.S. I'm spanish too. My passport says so. My dad came from Spain during the Civil War, he was born in Vitoria, Euskadi, and both grandparents from my mother's side were spanish, one from Las Canarias and the other one from Reus in Cataluña. I would easily pass for spanish in a crowd unless I open my mouth. Years of caribbean sun have given me a light tan comparable to someone from Sevilla, Málaga, o Almería.
