Has there ever been a song that you could listen to over and over again?

I ask because I normally hear people complain about music being repeated over and over again.

Case in point I am stuck on this song (have be for about an hour now....):

Yes, there have been many songs.

Though I can't say the song you like so much is one I could tolerate more than once...

The last song I remember listening to over and over was Night of the Long Knives by Marduk.

The Instrumental part that starts about 2:45 in and lasts until about 4:15 is fucking amazing.

The rest of the song is badass too.

The Super Mario brothers suite.

you mean the theme? (sorry never heard "suite" used in place of "theme before and this: http://youtube.com/watch?v=HKm-mt0ZQzc is how I figured it out lol.)

Can you have grown up with the NES and not have listened to the SMB theme over and over again?:D

Though I can't say the song you like so much is one I could tolerate more than once...

lol then we are even. I never cared for the form of singing. I liked the music though.

Okay, that video/song was extremely high on the "wtf?" factor.

I don't think there's a single song I've listened to for an hour straight (my attention span is just way too short), but I have a tendency to listen to Knife Prty (http://youtube.com/watch?v=Zug79NTBN5A) on a loop when I'm really depressed.

Loads of songs. I think my record was thirty-some odd times in a row for Agalloch's cover of Kneel to the Cross.

I feel embarassed to even admit this but I went through a period of complete and utter obsession with the song 'Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous' by Good Charlotte. I used to listen to that one song on a loop for hours, I would even mute the Tv when the adverts came on, play the song and then when it was finished unmute the tv and continue watching it. I reckon I must have listened to it about 1000 times in total :(

Certainly the playcount on my computer was at something like 500+ but I listened to the song a heck of a lot more in my room on my stereo.

My secret shame is now not so secret.

Has there ever been a song that you could listen to over and over again?Occasionally; but usually only within the same day or something. If I do it every day for a week I'll get sick of it.

Back when I didn't know music, I used to listen to American Pie over and over again. I'm talking hours on end

Most recently I listened to Flannigan's Ball by Dropkick Murphy's (well, their cover of it) six of seven times in a row. Thats about it.

Oh, wait, When I first heard Butterflies and Hurricanes by Muse, that one lasted me aaaaaaages...

The Cincinnati kid by Ray Charles (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCp-KVjJHS0)

Is that really how you spell cincinnati? It looks wrong and youtube users aren't noted for their excellent spelling.

Several pieces by Philip Glass and others could conceivably play continuously and no-one would notice. But then, that's the point.

Black Sabbath - Iron Man. Has been on constant repeat for 75% of the last four days.

No prizes for guessing why.
