Ah, but what is life, if not a particularly elaborate yet dull RPG?
Ok, the answer's no...I just wanted to appear wise and interesting. My bad.

Those are all action/horror/FPS...
The only one that's close to RPG is WoW... and compared to tabletop P&P RPG games, it hardly even fits into the same category, and loses out on so much coolness.

Horses?
Zantubar (my level four Warhorse) walks into the tavern, where he overhears some armour-clad people in the corner whispering conspiratorially. With a nod to the walrus innkeeper, Zantubar orders a round of ale for himself and the party of seeming adventurers. He approaches their table, and makes introductions as Wally (the innkeeper - *groan*) brings the round of drinks. As they talk Zantubar learns they are looking for the supposedly haunted treasure of the nearby dungeon, though it is supposedly guarded by orcs. Zantubar draws his +3 flaming greataxe and loudly exclaims that he is just the sort to help out the adverturers on their quest. The party agrees to let him join them, and Zantubar whinnies in delight.
Hmm... maybe it does have some merit... what kind of Con mod would a horse PC get? :D
EDIT: "Whisky for my man, ale for my horses"?

in fact ive never found an rpg online that i like
Very little, but I used to a lot when I was a kid (and by "kid" I mean, like... 13-16). I stumbled into it totally unwittingly and as a result ended up in possibly THE geekiest medium ever... FFRPG. I blame AOL and inattentive parents. *nods*

Role playing means you play the role of a character, and get to choose how they 'grow' and develop their powers. In this way WoW is technically an RPG, whereas walking around and shooting zombies is not, it's an action-horror game. Action and RPG are very different.
Also Civ is a TBS (turn-based strategy) as their is no individual character growth over which the player is directly responsible.

well actually the character does grow, once you solve all the puzzles, better stronger faster, bionic even lol

and hey i still got my sega master systen 2 lol and still play streetfighter and kung fu lol
I used to roleplay a lot, but haven't done so for a yera or two. I never liked D&D btw. In my experience most D&D campaigns are solvable by a simple "Open Door, Beat Monster, take Treasure" algorithm. I liked a little more komplexity.
I haven't played an RPG for over a year, and it'll be a while before I can afford the time to do it again.

I used to, but don't really anymore. My brother and my roommate are supposedly executng a DragonMech campaign in the "near" future and I'm slated to participate in that (my mech is the shit) but it's been years since I did any RP here on NationStates and even longer since I did any real paper-dice roleplaying. When I played, I played Werewolf: The Apocalypse mostly, but I seem to remember running a Vampire: The Masquerade chronicle or two as well.
My single greatest acheivement in paper-dice RP came one day when I was late for a Werewolf session (paintball > RP), so the ST had to figure out a way to work my character into the scene when I showed up. My Shadow Lord kicked down a door, wielding akimbo .45s (ambidextrous + silver tolerance ftw) and scored like 5+ successes on my Firearms roll to kill TWO! rank 3 Black Spiral Dancers (with headshots!) in one turn. The troupe had been fighting them for 20+ minutes prior to my arrival. The dice landed, jaws dropped and I said "BOOYAH BITCHES!"
