In Wargrave, near Reading... saw her two nights ago at a pub in the village... surrounded by her entourage.
Apparently she's staying in Henley-on-Thames in S England, if anyone wants to go and, you know, pelt her with rotten fruit...

That's what celebrity does to people. No matter how famous you are, when you spend your life focused on one tiny aspect of your personality, you feel the need to escape from that every now and then. But for celebrities, what they're trying to escape from is themselves. The need to step away from being that person tends to drive them to drugs, alcohol or whatever. Well, that or religion, I guess.

If these people are going to throw themselves into the limelight, and destroy any sense of decent music people have, and dominate the media endlessly, then they must put up with us prying into their private lives. Especially when they are rude, brash and uncouth.
Apparently Winehouse, when she was in the pub, was smoking inside in a corner and got bored, so stalked past the staff and shouted "I'm going to go smoke in the toilets, this place is a ******-up hole." Or something.
Obviously, anti-smoking laws don't apply to the stars!

it sounds like you need to get a life so that you don't have to cling to the happenings of someone else's life with such passion.
Apparently, you like to stick food up your ass for fun. Someone said it once so it must be true. No one's ever made shit up about someone else (especially celebrities) in teh history of the universe.

Oh you just don't get it SB...people or bands or things are only cool when we're the only ones who know about them. These unknown cool people/bands/things increase our street cred, and make us, simply by knowing about them when no one else does, super cool ourselves. The moment something is accepted by the mainstream, it becomes UNcool, and we must loathe it, and try to destroy it...all the while searching frantically for the next unknown person/band/thing to increase our own status even more.

And before people start going on at me - I'm 20, I drink, I've smoked (infer what I've smoked as you like), I sleep around... I have no moral high ground whatsoever. However, I'm not the one that millions of young kids look up to and think "hey, that's cool" and want to try and emulate.
