Ukraine is a land of tradition and a great history. In 1991, it achieved independance from the Soviet Union and, in 1996, it signed the current-day constitution. Since then, it never had a great political stability- having elections almost every year, minority governments and corrupted politicians. When you PolU, you will have to champion that instability- or use it to your advantage- and try and goven the nation described as "Russia's Breadbasket."
In Politics Ukraine, you have the option to play in one of two parties: the Party of Regions (centre, governing) or the Yulia Tymoschenko Bloc (moderate-left, opposition). There is also the Our Ukraine (centre-right, third party) but it is currently capped at three players and those spots will be reserved for better, more experienced players. You will have to make laws, write Press Releases and run in local and national campaigns for election time. Eventually, you will even be able to run for the President. Your main goal in PolU: to become the most popular, most powerful politician in all of the Ukraine and, if your lucky enough, in all of Eastern Europe by rising through the ranks of your party to, eventually, be in the Cabinet of Ministers and, hopefully, become the Prime Minister.

And second, that this forum is for general chat as well as debate, - so I felt like this would be the best place to post it. And third, I am not the maker of runner of the site, I just thought considering the high level of political interest on these forums, some people might be interested. Thank you.
