Is it just me or does Ardchoille remind you of a female Melkor?

I miss Melkor so much. He was awesome.

Melkor's nation is still around. He just doesn't post anymore. Don't ask me why, because now I'm the one who ends up with the "Randian" tag, and in the real philosophical discussions we just get a bunch of lefties bickering amongst themselves. ;)

And yes, he was so lovely. One of the funniest, best internet pals I've enjoyed all abroad. A good roleplaying partner, too. Has anyone of you seen any of his pictures? He's sooo handsome too, at least until he shaved his head.

He's a good guy, and a lot of people can't quite seem to grasp what exactly it is that he professes... He's definitely not a "Randroid", though he does very much agree with her philosophy (though I wouldn't say completely). I've got him as a friend on MySpace, too.

Soul Calibur, eh? I could probably beat him. Probably. I practiced for hours upon hours every day for months with Nightmare, Mitsurugi, Hwang Seung Kyong. But I think he's mostly interested in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars at the moment, what with being the highest-ranked player on it and all.

A Randroid are the like Christian fundies except they use Rand's complete works instead of the Bible. Ask an objectivist if there is such a thing objectively good art. If they say yes they're probably a randroid.

Oh, I always had a problem handling Lei in the hands of a proper player. He was so...Unpredictable. I don't know why, but I was always able to read the intentions of the Eddie Gordos.

As did I. It was confusing, why someone was comparing a moderator to the Tolkien version of Lucifer, but now I see it's an old poster. One who was just human.

I am not Melkor. I have neither his all-seeing eye nor his talent for acute and painful one-line putdowns. Nor, alas, his relative youth. Nor, hurrah, his gender.

Melkor is indeed around and active. I am still as awed by him as I was four years ago.
