You need to better translate NSG thread headings.

'Would you accept a female as president' translates as 'Isn't Hillary Clinton a bitch' - rarely are threads titles relevant to the desired response, more often poor disguises for what the OP really wants to talk about.

Doesn't bother me... As long as they don't let their religion/race/gender/chicken farm get in the way of running the show I can't see any problem...

I wouldn't mind having a political leader that was any gender or religion, as long as they do their job well.
Unfortunately alot of other people don't think like this and if they see a muslim leader they immediatly think they'd be dangerous. I'm sure the more backward people would vote according to gender and race, i'm hoping these folks will disappear soon.

It shouldn't matter what the sexuality, religion or any of that stuff is, as long as the leader leads justly and doesn't allow for his/her bias to interfere with their ability to competently govern a nation.

ie: if you're religious, you don't impose it on the people.

Being religious can for certain people boil down to being out of touch with reality. Such people should not lead the country.

Someone who is religious and rational however - fine.

Sexual orientation ? Irrelevant. Skin colour ? Irrelevant.

Though a Chinese citizen should not become leader of the USA. He or she should at least get citizenship ;)

Your last statement says it all. As long as they do a great job, it doesn´t really matter if they´re she-males, gay, Jewish, Muslim or Oriental.

I wouldn't vote for someone who was anything less than all of those things.
