She's an idiot because she's sleeping with her boss who is married and at least twice her age. He's giving her money and preferential treatment at work, which is causing resentment among the other employees. I can't think of anything she could do that would be more stupid.

I'm not going to do or say anything, of course, even though I'm sooooo damned tempted. It's not my place, she's an adult (at least chronologically) and, in any case, I doubt she'd listen.

Well, a lesson I learned in life is :

Shagging married men = fine and dandy
Falling in love with one and not realising until it's WAY too late = big problem

So if she's not in love, all she's risking in the scorn of her workmates (which she doesn't seem to care about that much), and her reputation. Personally, I always felt that repuations were overrated and life is much easier after you lost yours. Much like virginity.

Why can't you say anything? Even though she isn't chronologically your step daughter, if you care about the person you should tell her. "Hey, idiot! Why are you acting so stupid?" If this keeps up, then she's probably going to get let go and if that happens, what is she going to say when future employers ask her what happened at her old job? I doubt she can say "Well I slept with my boss, everyone hated for me, and they convince him to get rid of me."
