Well yesterday I brought a hat from Hot Topic (yes I do shop there from time to time.) and I love it! It is just so awesome and personally I think I look good in it.

So, who else has hats? and I'm not talking about Baseball caps, I'm talking real hats. Also post pictures of you wearing your hat if you have one! :D

I own many hats. But I don't wear them if it's not cold/sunny.

I have this pretty cool leather cowboy hat, but I live in a place were it's almost never the right weather for it so I shouldn't have bought it.

Ah, don't mind me. I'm just jealous because I look really bad in every hat I've ever tried on.

No pics though.

Haha.

I consider that rather unlikely. If it was true, however, you would know what colour my hat was.

:From the Book of Hatter. Chapter 3, part 1. Hats:
Hats come in many shapes and sizes, from the truely long and huge hats worn by the giants of the north, to the strange hats with a little moat around them from the warmer climates, to the ones with huge brims from the East to the smaller ones of the West.
A hat can say alot about your character. For example the pope wears at liturgical ceremonies an episcopal mitre (an erect cloth hat). to reflect his prestige he wears a very fancy and shiny hat.
hat's over the years have changed from the practical useage of helmets in battles long past to the modern day helmets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helmet) for safety and ceremonies.
Helmets differ from hats, in that helmets are often made of harder material.
Hats (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hat) also tell others where you have been, and sometimes of what religious faith you follow.
An important aspect of buying a hat is making sure it fits your head, and that it doesn't have any holes in it.
It can be said hats are a vivid representation of human society over the years. perhaps in the future hats will take on a spiritual form, or perhaps they will be made in such a way that they protect your head better than 4 inches of concrete while at the same time wiegh as light as a feather. May the hat protect the wearer and imbue intelligent properties in times of need.

I look horrible in hats, my face is too round. :( I do have a big floppy straw hat that looks horrendous though, I wear it in the spring/summer when I'm outside to give me some protection since my meds make me photosensitive.

The only hat I've ever owned was a marching band hat. Of course, they didn't give us the plumes until just before the games, which made the hat useless on its own. So I never wore it outside of school. You'd look pretty stupid standing in line at the bank wearing a marching band cap without the plume - that'd just be silly.

I have a new blue felt homburg, a battered brown felt fedora, a black fur ushanka, an old white quilted fold-flap, some tuques (but I don't use them anymore, even when it's snowing), and a VVS officer's hat.

My fiancee is fond of hats, too. I gave her an Italian Navy officer's hat last year as birthday gift.

I haven't worn a hat in awhile. I used to have a couple of favorite hats, but they're all gone.

This will be my hat, however:

Yeah, the U.S. Navy wins in the stupid hat department (at as long as they're only competing against the other U.S. armed forces)

I've been told, and maybe my leg was being pulled, that navy hats are designed the way they are for a logical reason.

When torpedoes hit ships the deck suddenly rises and falls, causing the sailors to crack their heads on the ceilings. The hats are designed to minimize injuries in this circumstance.

Yeah, he was pulling my leg.

Hmm...maybe...(though I'm not sure many members of the U.S. Navy would be comfortable with the fact that their hats are nigh identical to the hats of the People's Liberation Army-Navy hats.)

That doesn't excuse the fact that it's a stupid-looking hat.
