My Firefox has spell check for these text boxes! How awesome is that? :)

spell cheque?
I must hear more of this money given for spelling, maybe it would provide the incentive to spell better. I can picture it now, the corporate tax on spelling businesses causes war among Literacy teachers.

Of course it does, using a web browser or chat program without spell check can make you look stupid. Firefox's spell check is terrible though, most of the time it doesn't have the correct word among the suggestions in the right click menu. Sometimes that means I have to try random spellings or copy the word to a text editor and look at the suggestions there to find out what the correct spelling is. Besides, it says Firefox should be spelled Firebox.

Firefox quite possibly has the worst spellchecker ever. It doesn't even contain "spellchecker".

Oh, and it took until the most recent version to recognize "Firefox" as a word.

Well, you get what you pay for.

But it's good enough to catch the silly mistakes that for some reason, many posters constantly make. Good enough so they've got no excuses!

You can download alternate dictionaries which improve it a bit. Though some words still cause it fits.
