General Sir Henry Clinton, the C in C of the British forces during the Revolutionary War. He helped them lose.

I think when I was about 7 years old I still had my natural trust and respect for authority. I knew nothing about Bill Clinton but I assumed he must be pretty cool if he's the president. Soon after that I started to occasionally pay attention to what was happening on the news and I've disliked the Clintons ever since then. What I meant to say is that it depends on what the definition of "is" is.

Never really understand why so many people in the US don't like Bill Clinton, from my point of view he was the only competent President you have had in 40 years.

Honestly, Bill did a good job as President. Not outstanding, but certainly competent.

Yes. That's a good word for it. Neither good nor bad, but competent. I miss competence. :(

Chelsea.
Who else would have the total lack of refinement to pick her nose on national TV as her father is being sworn in as President?
Just awesome.

So Bill Clinton didn't plunge the country into a recession. He was competent. I think our standards have gotten too low.

Considering that you've had George W. Bush as President of the US for almost 8 years now truly explains the fact that, yes, you've lowered your standards as a country. But so have done many other countries like, for example, Spain. Zapatero is the Bush of the Iberian Peninsula.:D

Harrison is often ranked as one of the better Presidents we've had. He died like thirty days into office. Our standards were already there.

I vote Chelsea! I gotta give props to anyone who tells some nosy questioner that it's none of his business.
And she's not unattractive, even if John McCain was otherwise correct :D
