Wikipedia stopped working in my part of the world (Arabia) for four days. Nightmare. I use Wikipedia a lot to give myself an overall background briefing on subjects, plus the links section to proper authorities is great (I'm a journalist).

So losing Wikipedia was a nightmare. I actually had to do real work :D

But it's back now.

What website would you hate to lose?

And no links to explicit :fluffle: ... we can find those on our own :p

BBCnews, because i pay for the damn thing it better not go offline on me. Also some of the news it has is an interesting diversion from study.

I was without Internet access for six weeks in January/February, save for a couple of days where I forked out extortionate amounts in Internet cafes to check my email and such. That was an unpleasant experience.

Couldn't agree more. BBC news is the mutt's nutts. Although I don't pay for it anymore because I'm not a UK taxpayer anymore :D

Agreed, BBC news is vital to me, although I'm not certain I like what they've done with the layout, I preferred the old one I must say, even if the headlines were more dense.
