Another politically based game

I'd like to see if anyone here is interested in a different politically based game that's occupied a lot of my time in the past two and a half years. It's called the United States of MicroAmerica, and unlike NationStates players take the role of, not nations, but politicians. Most members of the game take the role of Senators in a political system modeled after the real-life political system of the United States. A few are chosen for alternative roles such as President, Attorney General, or Justice of the Supreme Court. I'd encourage anyone here who is mature and interested in learning more about American politics, or just always wanted to see what the give and take of legislation is like, to join. The game is run by email via Yahoo groups, and we're always looking for people.

The first step for those interested in joining would be to apply to usma_immigration-subscribe@yahoogroups.com or by web at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/usma_immigration/ . You'll then be walked through the rest of the joining process. Since the game is play-by-email, you should register with an email that you are willing to accept a decent number of messages in, but you can change your registered email at any time up to actually joining the Senate. You can pick a party to join -- unlike the real-life US, which has two parties in Congress, we have five. You can also remain independent if you like, though most Independents choose to participate in the game in other ways than the legislature.

If anyone is interested in further information, feel free to Private Message me, or post in this thread, but I definitely recommend for any who think they might be interested to apply directly. It's really an intriguing game that has held my interest for years.
