Inspired by HBO's John Adams, who is your favourite one of the founders of America? I'm rather partial to Thomas Jefferson myself.

From what I've read of him, Jefferson, by far and away.

Yeah, like that.

Eh. I never heard that about him.

Anyway, there wouldn't be a chain of stores named after him in Wisconsin if he was "like that," I don't think. :p

On that show, John Hancock.

"Tar the bastard!" Hahah.

But I would like one god damn historical show be able to keep a proper timeline. They have four years pass on that show between scenes that make it seem like one week. It ruins The Tudors for me too when they make events that are years apart seem like days.

I wish in the WGA agreement, they had some kind of provision to force the writers to follow a damn timeline and make sure they understand what continuity is.

Yeah, like that.

He liked older women because -

"They don't yell,
They don't swell,
and they're grateful as Hell."
-Benjamin Franklin in Poor Richard's Almanac.

Otherwise, John Adams. I tend to be able to relate to obnoxious pricks. Go figure :p

Well, Tom Paine does get the honor of being mentioned in the song "Renegades of Funk", right along side Martin Luther King and Malcolm X. But other than that, nobody remembers Tom Paine. :(

Arnold was a traitor, not a founding father.

He was a big reason why the country even was able to exist, however.
