Do you run your nation according to your beliefs or do you just make an extremist state for fun? Does seeing your nation in good condition make you happy, or do you like to mess around?

I'm sort of an in between. I usually run Saggitarya in accordance with my leftist/liberal views, but occassionally I'll get bored and let the Violets sacrifice first born children on nation TV or turn immigration into a game show.

I decide my nations policies on a whim, so it could be dictatorship or democracy based on my mood.

I just hope my people don't rebel and take all of my gold...

Mine is based on my own political views (though with the exaggeration this game throws at you, it sometimes doesn't seem that way), and I try to run a fairly liberal nation with far-too-much tolerance :D

I try the former, but the end result is always the latter, thus is Nationstates.net.

Mine's based on partly my political views and partly how it's evolved through RP. But then, it's aways going to be exaggerated, as the NS Issues tend to be overstated for comic effect.

Oh yeah, the sales of fishnet stockings have just reached an all time high in my nation. Which is totally wonderful, but that's the 3rd time it's happened, and I can never remember what issue I just decided on.

I let mine do what they want. Who am I to say what's good for them.:p

My nation is simply the portal for me to get to NSG.

Yes, it matters to me because it´s the nation I would love to live in IRL. Plus, it allows me to get into the forums.:D

My nation is almost entirely the way I'd want a real nation to be. I love it. My nation's description is cool as well.

I run mine as i would want it IRL - 2/3 National Socialist, 1/3 Communist

but since both have a strong theme of brotherhood and unity, and are opposed to mindless capitalism, the system works

The Republic of Dyakovo is a huge, environmentally stunning nation, notable for its punitive income tax rates. Its hard-nosed, intelligent population of 750 million love a good election, and the government gives them plenty of them. Universities tend to be full of students debating the merits of various civil and political rights, while businesses are tightly regulated and the wealthy viewed with suspicion.

I run it in accordance with my political views. God knows how to describe mine, and it is really hard not to let it run into a dictatorship!!

I try to run my nation according to my true beliefs. NationStates has actually taught me a lot--when I first set up my nation it was a socialist paradise... after a month or so I checked the info and was horrified to discover that the political and civil rights where falling steadily, even though I thought I was making decisions based on protection of those rights. It really made me think.

I try to base it on my own views, but I'd like to see more random issues.

I run my nation as its leaders would. Its leaders care about the prosperity and strength of the country as a whole, and have little interest in persecuting its people. Freedom of speech isn't a sacred right, but constructive criticism is encouraged. Mirkanans are militarists, and they know the importance of morale.

On the other hand, they don't care about democracy. Mirkana elects a new dictator every 10 years, and that's the be-all and end-all of their democracy. They view a full democratic system as inefficient. What can sometimes take weeks for a democratic government, they can accomplish in hours.

Also, capitalism no longer exists. All Mirkanan corporations are fully government-owned. They exist primarily to serve the Mirkanan people, with a secondary goal of making money by selling to foreigners.

I log in chiefly to keep my nation from being deleted, but I may one day return to RPing. Though really, I think the days of Mirkanan RP died with General Remmol (the creator of modern Mirkana, who I killed off a few years ago).
