Anyone have stats for ships from the show Firefly and its movie counterpart Serenity?

Excluding Serenity itself, does anyone have any sort of stats or know a site with stats...or calculated the size etc. of any ships from the show and movie? particularly the Alliance ships in the movie.

I don't think there was anything canon-wise in that department.

Might as well hijack this thread...

I had never watched Firefly before, but I got Disc One from Netflix today, and must say that I am thoroughly impressed. I am anxiously awaiting Disc Two, and am saddened by the fact that I have but a single seasons worth of episodes to enjoy.

As for stats on the ships, well...I can't help you there. *pats head*

There is a pretty lousy RPG game-book for firefly - it has a very depressive system but has lots of interesting things about the setting. I am not sure about the ships though, in settings like those I always handle ships and such as plot elements.

Cheerio!

I can give you a crossover... The Serenity appears in the pilot episode of the new Battlestar Galactica.

Does it really? I missed that, now I will have to go watch it again and see. :headbang:

It's toward the beginning when Laura Roslin has just been informed that she has cancer. In the background is a window with ships flying by overhead. If you watch, you will see the Serenity coming in for a landing.

In fact... you can probably YouTube it

The Serenity RPG sourcebook has a schematic of the Serenity in detail.

You should be able to torrent the book rather easily.

I wouldn't say that. I like the way the system's designed, it's just a bit threadbare in terms of the available advantages/disadvantages.

The dice system it uses is actually pretty neat, compared to d20.
