Last April Fools', my SO and I told one of our mutual friends that I was pregnant. I did a very convincing job of "freaking the fuck out" as pregnancy is definitely not something I'm looking for at this point in my life. Sadly, I did too good of a job, as he walked out of his girlfriend's house at one am without even saying goodbye, woke his dad up to take the car, drove all the way to my town before realising that he doesn't know where I live, and then drove around *for the rest of the night* calling me repeatedly, hoping some miracle would occur and he'd find my house, just so he could comfort me.
He didn't speak to us for a fair while after that. :p Poor kid.

ah yes the transition from pineapple stage to mango stage can be quite difficult as you can see in the picture there, people start going naked between the stages, this can cause quite a bit of confusion and anxiety.

April 1, 2004: Everyone's population was reset to 5 million. (This was back when folks actually cared about the game, mind.)
April 1, 2005: The NS home page was replaced with a page indicating that the website was in direct violation of the policies of the Department of Homeworld Security and members would soon be visited for questioning. (You could still access the NS main page, though.) This day also featured the one-shot "Most Likely to be DEATed" UN ranking.
April 1, 2006: NS debuted as a dating service, including a variety of new game functions for determining your "perfect match".
April 1, 2007: "Regional Moderators" were introduced. Featured a copy of the actual NS mod center, but without any of the functionality (there was no "Delete Nation" button, for instance).
