I started here in December 2003

4 years, 10 months. More or less.

It was an attempt to forward a UN Resolution endorsing the free trade of tacos and taco related goods. It didn't get far. RP Humor wasn't very common back then. There was me and Lemmitania(who were a terrific team) and that was about it.

I believe I can claim that, if you count my original nation "Mardla", which I recently revived.

I'm getting close to that mark as well... alas... so much time spent wasted.

Yeah, guilty on the NationStates count. However, I only became a reliable frequenter of the fora about three years ago, and I believe this NSG account's activity even dates back to only end of 2005, IIRC.

I'll hit the three year mark in two more months.

I've been here since at least 06, maybe 05...I can't really remember...

I first discovered NS in 10th Grade and now I'm in what you could call "Grade 13", so 3 years...

This is my second nation BTW

My first nation (Lorenya) dates back to when there were only thirty issues, but it's long-dead...

Less than one year for me. Of course, I'll probably end up making a new nation when I'm bored of this one, so it'll reset again.

Was around about a full year before this incarnation. So not yet to 5 but almost there.

I dun remember if I started Santa Barbara here in January 03, or 04 or what. But if that NS was still around it'd be amongst the largest and oldest. And I did have some other nation in December when my friend first showed me this site, but I can't remember what that was.

So many nations, so many names, so many years....

I don't really post much anymore...but used to love the RP action in II...had the Role Play University for a couple years...now I mostly just log in - can't seem to let it go.

And I do remember a hell of an RP with you - I can't remember if we were on the same side, or fighting one another, but it was a bloodbath.

It may have been part of the RGGA (Really Great Guys Alliance) against Automagfreak.

I remember the glorious days of mixing region-crashing and roleplay (haphazardly) with the 2MPN Pact. And the GDODAD. I was the armed might of that group for a while there, but they never made good use of my uber. Alas... wasted opportunity

Man... I can't believe you are all still around. I guess my old nation would be on par had I not let Unidox fade away... Still; it is great to see some old names still kicking around NS! ....... I tried to quit, but I not only love NS; I'm addicted.

But the predecceors started in October 2005 yes I know it was a while till I began on the forums.

Do previous accounts with nations count, if so then I have been on-off since about 2003 maybe 2002 I know I was in high school and I am sure i was playing it long before I was in Yr12 (2003) but I can't quite remember

Joined....2 days after the US captured Saddam, methinks. Haven't RPed or done decent posts in a damn long time. I've just been keeping the nation alive. Turned 4 in December. In fact, the forums have changed so much since then.....I hardly remember any of those around back then.

I've been involved with NationStates one way or another since February 2003.

First nation was Ferretus, which only lasted something like 4 months, and perhaps a year after that I created this one (Caedryn), which has sporadically been active since 2004, I believe. Other former nations of mine were Dictatorians, Ostrevia (an attempt at a PMT country), and several others that have fallen into the dust.

I hit 5 years in June. w00t!

I had my first nation when the game was quite new, at least five years ago. I used that one for about 6 months until the issues got repetitive, then it died.

I got a new nation about 3 years ago, and did much the same thing.

I got this nation two years ago, and ventured into the forums for the first time using it.

I didn't think much of NS when a first showed it to me in November... I eventually submitted to peer pressure and joined in January. I out lived them all though. Hah!

Any amount of time on NS is unhealthy.I wrote some college application essays (well, one essay I kept revising as I submitted apps) about NS, since it demonstrates multiple sides of me pretty well and plays into my career goals...Not every school accepted me, but some decided (partial) scholarships were in order. :D


I still say Jolt is worse than the old forum was, at least immediately prior to the move when various people decided to take a break. It took a while to get this through. <_<


Oh, and did anyone else notice that Max didn't wish NS a happy birthday this year?
