Well then I phrased it wrong. I was under the assumption that the "-" would mean and. Because I was working with the premise that Swiss = Swiss and German = German. Hence Swiss-German, are Swiss and Germans.
But if that was too confusing then I'll simply rephrase it to descended from Swiss-and-Germans.It is confusing, because "Swiss" has never been an ethnicity, but a combination of German, Italian, and French ethnicities.
