Another magnificent performance from the boys in Red yesterday, only improved by England reverting to type in Edinburgh.

There is a God, and he is Welsh :D

Or at the very Least Shaun Edwards:D

Wales were lucky.

Everyone else thought they'd be sporting and give them a chance for a change.

The Tea Drinking World Cup isn't until next year.

Actually we do have two kinds, union and league, union being the most popular.

I cry at the rubbish performance of England. :(

Shame really. I was hoping for Irish and English wins. Then, followed by a France victory today, the final weekend would see four different teams still able to win the damn thing. Now it'll probably go to Wales.

I know it's easy to say this now, but I think England would have done better with Cipriani in the side. Or if we'd not kicked every single piece of possession we had (or at least, that's what it seemed).

Bloody true. We'd have done better with Cipriani, Abendanon, Lewsey, actually, even Brian Moore, at full back, and Simpson-Daniel replacing Vainikolo at wing. Why in God's name is Vainikolo even playing test standard rugby? His contribution thus far has been to drop the odd catch, fall over, and provide a comic diversion from the otherwise mediocre performances England delight in.

I find the notion of the English as big bulky strong athletes makes me giggle slightly.

Rugby players are insane due to the fact they have no pads but American football players are both stronger and faster and because they have pads are able to use the higher ends of both abilities without actually killing someone.

Mate, I wouldn't call running into somebody simply to block them from running into somebody else an "ability". I would, however, call what Danny Cipriani, Shane Williams, Francois Steyn or Dan Carter does "ability".

Not an ability huh, funny how only a tiny handful of people in the entire world are good enough to do it since its so easy.

Maybe because only a tiny handful of people are actually interested in it?

When there is an American "Football" world cup, come back and say that again.

Also, until you actually play Rugby, don't say it has no skill.

So your agreeing with me then. The ability to block on a professional level in the NFL is clearly not held by all and thus qualifies as a talent and/or an ability.

Not everyone can tackle and run with the ball like in rugby. And not everyone can kick a rugby ball with the required precision of individuals such as Johnny Wilkinson.

Don't say a sport you are clearly ignorant about is unskilled. I would say that Rugby players need more strength and skill than American football players.

An ability is not supposed to be easy, nor a talent to be universally held.

For a talent or ability to merit the semantic sense of the term, they must be exclusive. Anything held by all is not a talent.

What can I say? We decided it was someone else's turn for the Triple Crown. It gets boring when you win it three times in four years, we thought the Welsh deserved a go again.

Whyowhyowhy do England not use Lesley Vainikolo properly? The man's a tank!

I was discussing this at work on Saturday, and someone who knew nothing about Rugby chimed in with "Isn't Lesley a girls name?" Wwe then had a good half an hour discussing how much you might regret saying that within Vainikolo's earshot!

I would have put this up on Sunday, but I'm not in my twenties anymore and the Hangover seems to be more debilitating as years go by.
