After seeing American and Canadian army recruitment ads, that was a total eclipse. It's nothing like the more macho ads we get here. Though I'm sure that the Ukrainian one is more effective.

Yes there is a "before 9am" and that's when all the geezers, and my father-ion-law get up because they go to bed at 7pm.

The recruiters used to have pictures of chicks that they met on deployments and would show us and say "You can get this girl". The sea stories told by the recruiters were quite funny and interesting. Of course, I'm in the Navy for the college benefits mostly. Oddly enough, it is easier to get girls while being in the Navy.

Anyways, this recruitment video is hilarious, far funnier than American ones.

Probably because the uniform, like a business suit means power and a uniform is attractive to the female eye. It's more likely to capture the female fancy than plain clothing.

Women do like a man in uniform, this is true. I'm stationed overseas and we're not authorized to wear our uniforms off base. Another thing women like is just the mental images they get when a guy tells them their in the military. When people think military, they get images of war, and tough guys doing manly things.

It's not the intimidation factor that counts. It's the sharp, clean, and professional apperance that's the most important part.

Yep, I'm generally almost half-way through my work day by 9 am (unfortunately).

While I work, I've had plenty of time to realize: "Man, I fucked up somewhere"

Were's what I did wrong: I shouldn't have joined the military, I should've dated an officer cadet and married her.

Meh, when I look back, I can't say I seriously regret any of it. You get what you put into the military. If you put alot of hard work and effort, then it works out. If not, then you hate life. I've grown in personality and character, learned alot about the world and America, and met so many interesting people.
