well, i could believe that there are 'nice' jews out there - like the ones who dont see any reason to mark themselves out as a special group, and are just willing to settle down and live life like the rest of us

I can tell you exactly why there is fighting: It's because there is fighting. We live in a chain of vengeance, where people take up arms to protect themselves, their own select groups and their honour from others who are doing the same thing.

I'm going to take a wild guess here and say you really have no idea what the Jewish Faith is about since as a whole we've got pretty much no reason to want to convert anyone, let alone want the whole world to convert.

I got it. I thought it was quite funny. I live in Bible Belt, and people always try and get me to go to church even though I tell them that I believe in Christ and God but I just don't like church. They don't listen. And the day the Jehovah’s Witnesses come around:headbang:

Also, so as I'm not completly off topic: I must agree with the person who said the reason for the fighting was the sand. Sand in your pants in very annoying, and if someone comes up and is an ass to you when you have sand in your pants and probably your crack, you might just want to kill them. And somewhere along the way somebody did kill somebody, and then their friends killed him back and so on and so forth and then you have modern Asia Minior and modern Africa. (Though in Africa sometimes it was jock itch caused by high humidity.) And I'm only being partilly satirical, which is really sad.
