Sweden is almost finished with the semi-finals in its selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest, and tonight the fourth (of four proper, and a second chance fifth) semi was aired. The following two songs went on directly to the final:

Which song of these two do you prefer? I like both and had a hard time deciding which to vote for, but I have to say that Charlotte's laser show, Moloko-esque dress and blinged mic were too fabulous for me to resist.

Oh, it is when spoken in a daily fashion. It can be prettied up for songs or with RP, but in this competition we've had people sing in Spanish, French, Bosnian, made-up languages and so on, so that it's not in Swedish is nothing out of the ordinary.

I like this one, as the dance moves are more energetic and the clothing is pretty random too, far better than the other one.

Linda Bengtzing wins though that song seems familiar...(I do have a soft spot for passion ballads though)

No i think that song does have more energy to it. Then again "Hero" does have better technical work with the lights and camera angles. I'll stick with the petting cats one.
