This is for my poor comedy deprived American friends... and for my other friends across the pond who have wondered if Canadians do indeed have a sense of humour.

Online, at the CBC's website are the past episodes of the Rick Mercer Report (RMR). I recommend checking out the "Front Page" segment. It's quite funny. And yes, Mercer is the dude who did Talking to Americans.

The Front Page is a better version of LG's "Caption This" thread. :)

Sweet. They don't discriminate and spread hate to us poor Euros by denying it to us, like some American channels...

It didn't work for me, and I'm feeling like I'm missing out :(

Rick Mercer's accent is a Newfoundland (pronounced New Finland) accent. Do the Brits here think it is similar to Irish? I've been wondering.

It sounds closer to Canada than it does to the other side of the pound. Sure it may sound Newfie but it's not as intense as most Newfie accents are.+-

You don’t have to worry.

Many of us have seen, and loved, Trailer Park Boys.

tehe the "pound". But he has exagerated "r" in words like "caaaarrr"
