Ukraine is Inaccessible
I'm trying to access the website www.ucu.edu.ua/ess from my computer her at RIT in the US. The site won't come up. So I tried just accessing the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church website (through google and wikipedia), but I get the same result. I don't know if this has something to do with RIT using Internet2 or perhaps the Ukraine has problems with hosting. Does anyone have any advice. Can any of you access the site?
Note: This site is the only way I know of getting information on a summer program that let's US students go to the Ukraine to teach English at the only Catholic university in the former USSR.

As a Moscow Patriarchate Orthodox, I probably shouldn't be helping one of you schismatics - Athonite monks are always going on about the sin of false ecumenicism... ;)
More seriously, the link doesn't work for me either.
Why not just try directly accessing the tri-lingual web page of the UGCC Archbishopric in Lviv?
The English version is: http://www.ugkc.lviv.ua/eng/
Hope that's some help.

Not accessible from my home. Server or server trunk may be down, or you may have typed it in wrong.

This is how the Tom Cruise version of "War of the Worlds" started.

Not accessible on my first attempt, loaded no problem when I hit refresh.

No problem accessing it for me (from Germany) when I just tried it.
I had no problem accessing it here.
From the U.S., that is.

The Martians must have completed their takeover and put up a fake site!

Blame the Russians.
Thanks for the input. Worked for me just now, so I should be good. Maybe a gopher chewed through the fiber optic cable in the Ukraine...
