Anyone else see it? Am I the only one who likes this stuff?

I saw it as well. You can (well, I could) also see Saturn slightly above the moon if you use binoculars, and some other star below and to the left of it. The eclipse might be gone now, but it was still visible as of 9:45 pm central time where I am.
I saw it. Being as the moon is easily viewed out the window behind my monitor.

I don't believe in Lunar Eclipses. I prefer to believe a giant turtle is eating the moon and then giving birth to it's replacement. Although the eclipse theory does make some good points.
Interesting.... I'll keep that in mind.
I actually missed it....

It’s been far too cloudy near me... :(
I'll just watch Sky At Night instead.

I wanted to, but couldn't. Some stupid, large, round cloud was slowing moving in front of the moon.

I'm glad to see you made a concession. That makes what you say science.

Freaking Turtlists, as member of the High Church of Tortoise I despise you!

Experiments with turtles can be easily replicated. They're slow.

I saw it, because I will go to the ends of my patio in the name of science!
The ends of my patio, I say!
You've got a patio? Bourgeois pig.

11:40 pm where I am, and the moon is about halfway re-emerged. I had the best viewing conditions ever for this one. :)
I saw it, but my attempts to take pictures were completely full of fail. :(

Saw it up here in Montana tonight with my daughter. The shadow was off kilter where I was up here, the 'central' shadow umbra must be better seen fully more east of where I was. Otherwise it went nicely enough. (Unlike last year where clouds killed it for me. Really irked me off then too.)
Unfortunately, I had cloud cover.
Fortunately, I have Starry Night Enthusiast 5, so I was able to watch it from multiple locations, including Tranquility Base.
Dammit! Totally forgot about it.
Ah well..next time

My boyfriend and I watched it outside for about five minutes, but it's really been cold where we live for the last week. Oh well. It was pretty.
There was a lunar eclipse tonight?! AND I MISSED IT?!
GOD DAMN IT! :headbang:
...would I have seen it in Colorado?

I did get up at 3am to have a quick look at it, but decided it was a bit too cloudy and cold to merit going outside for a better look. Took some pictures earlier in the evening, though.
I went to the equivalent of Central Park of my city, and watched it lying down in the grass for two hours. The sky was clear, and it went red until it looked like a little ball of flames.
It was pretty, but the place was hugely crowded. Surprisingly, there were a convention of trekkies taking place in the same place, I guess organized because of the eclipse. A guy was dressed as a Romulan, and I got the creeps.
In a side note, I was surrounded by geeks with telescopes, (I do not use geek as a derogative term), and when a small cloud covered the moon entirely for two minutes, I said "Wow, now that's a REAL eclipse of the moon", and then people looked at me with murde faces. I guess they didn't found it as funny as I did.

Does anyone have any pictures of it?
I really wanted to see that.

My dad reminded me to take a look at it. Pretty neat, and the next one won't be until we're two years into the Obama presidency.

We watched it for the first 30 minutes or so, my youngest son had never seen one that he could remember. The clouds finally moved out so we did get a nice clear view of it. It started out faint and then became a dusty red color. Very pretty. My son and I talked about how Columbus used the lunar eclipse to save his crew. It is a cool story.

Oooh! I got to take a look at snippets of it here and there, and in fact, I was able to brave the cold for about five consecutive minutes about midway through to just stand in the parking lot and look at the moon! It was friggin' sweet!
Wraaaoooong!
We won't be two years into the Obama Presidency, we'll be one and a half years into the [Andaluciae's] Global Presidium!
I'm very unpleasant right now and I want to say something very mean because you're so obviously much happier than me, but I won't.

This was the first time I got to see a decent eclipse! I could see it from my bedroom window, but I stepped outside for a few minutes to get a better view. I didn't stay out very long because it was coooold, but I did get to see it.

It was nice and clear for me, which in Michigan is a rarity. Awful cold, though.
Roughly the same situation down here in Columbus...perfectly clear. I could see Saturn and Regulus no problem.

Yes, you would have had an excellent view. It would have been the most wonderous event in your entire life, and brought you peace and tranquility for all time. Seeing this eclipse would have revealed to you all the secrets of the universe, and granted you eternal youth.
Sorry you missed it.
The lunar eclipse was pretty cool and I also saw Saturn and the Star Regulus. It was neat to see but it was well below zero Farenheit where I was so I didn't stay out too long.
