Given that many Obama supporters have voiced their dislike of Clinton to such a degree that we'd rather vote for McCain, what say you?

To be utterly blunt, no way in hell will I vote for Clinton. Period. I like McCain well enough that I'll hvae no troublr voting for him against Clinton.

I'll likely go back to voting for third party candidates. I decided a while ago that I wasn't going to vote against people.

Consider it a done deal. I do not know how much clearer it can be stated that I will not vote for her. To put it into focus, I'd vote for Huckabee before Clinton, and i consider Huckabee to be a Christofacist.

i dont think that clinton is getting the nomination but if she does the contrast between her and mccain will be so stark that you will not be able to vote for him.

maybe you will stay home, maybe you will vote for a 3rd party candidate but you will not vote for mccain.

because no one who supports obama would be satisfied with a tired old man who supports the failed policies of george bush.

now YOU might vote for mccain but you are a libertarian.

Nope. If my preference for Huckabee ove Clinton didn't make it perfectly clear, I do not know what will. I really like Obama. I like McCain. I dislike Huckabee. And I utterly detest and dispise Clinton.

Clinton represents the continuation of the Bush-Clinton-Bush years.

I'll keep saying it - do not under-estimate how disliked she is...

And McCain represents the continuation of the Bush-Bush years into Bush-Bush-"I've got Bush's hand so far upp my ass you'd think me a muppet", so...

... you're seemingly one of those voters who votes for "likeability and personality" and not for stances and principles. Then again, it is the world's biggest popularity contest of an electoral sham and you can't really be blamed for your country's poor and antiquated design, but still.

Nah, I won't be voting for Obama, Clinton or Mc. Cain. I'll be voting whoever the Libertarians pick.

Two things:
First off, likeablity and personality are important aspects of leadership, and as such have played a role in my choices.
Secondly, the biggest issue for me is foreign policy. McCain may represent a continuation of the Bush/Clinton foreign policy that got us into the mess in Iraq, but so does Clinton (and both Clintons have their share of the blame for it). If the foreign policy is to be continued, least McCain has the military background to properly conduct it.

same can be said about all those GOPs out there adamantly declaring that they'll never ever vote for McCain and would vote for Hilary over McCain.

All bluster. When voting day comes, they'll all grimace a bit but then still vote for their respective parties. Like always.

What worries me is that McCain's got the best chance of winning the presidency for GOP. For some Lord-only-knows reason, he's got a lot of appeal to the centrists and non-commitals out there. If he takes on Huckabee as his VP, it'll be enough to appease the religious-right and get their votes.

I'm preparing myself for 4 more years of Bushnomics and Bushwars.
