The1.9 Million-member Service Employees International Union has endorsed Barack Obama for President. He also has the endorsement of the "United Food and Commercial Workers, a politically active union 69,000 members in Ohio and another 26,000 in Texas. The food workers also have 19,000 members in Wisconsin, which holds a primary Tuesday."<--straight from the article

And this non-sensical post is supposed to mean?

Not having any comment of your own and just copy&pasting from the article you linked to is spam. You've been here long enough not to be able to act as if you don't know that. So, you posted this because you think what of it?

This could have and should have gone in any number of the active Democratic primary threads. It's an important endorsement because not only is it a huge (the biggest? I can't remember) union it cuts hard into what's considered Clinton's base, so in the current 'endorsement war,' it's a big win. I heard about this last week but avoided mentioning it because I don't think we should make too much of endorsements even if it's for the guy I'm currently rooting for.

Even though I'm bumping this by responding, I do think we should try to keep these conversations contained. Several threads that essentially go over the same argument causes a lot of repetition and thread pollution. There's enough active threads on the Democratic primary where this would have been directly relevant and moved the discussion along where as this thread lacks the prompt for discussion other than re-starting the Obama/Clinton debate.
