Well the first state to close its polls has gone right to Obama.

D.C. and Maryland close at 800 tonight.

Will we see another sweep?

What is "patomic"? Sounds like an adjective describing something as having the quality of 'patom'.

You didn't mean Potomac, did you?

EDIT: Threadsteal stolen!

Well seeing as Clinton has already bailed off to Texas in a sort of Guiliani gambit, I think she's all but conceded the Potomac. I think I even half heard that she had pre-congratulated him earlier today.

It looks like we may have to wait a bit for Maryland because a judge has orded the polls to remain open for another 90 minutes due to bad weather.

Bad weather in the area has caused a judge to extend polling stations' hours by 90 minutes in Maryland

This was on the pop up of cnn live

This reminds me of a bit a local radiostation did when hurricane isabel swept in. They did the normal 'school closings' set up, but for the whole state. "The following has been closed due to the weather: uh, Virginia."
