Four times a week and sometimes five. Besides the obvious health benefits it makes me feel better overall. I also do a lot of outdoor activities so I need to keep in decent shape.

I tend to think of internet posters as a bunch of fat lazy slobs who spend all day in front of the computer and never go outside or get exercise. I decided to make this poll to test my hypothesis. Am I right? Please, have no shame and be honest.

I myself just started a rigorous exercise regiment. I hit the gym 3 times a week in the morning with my personal trainer(aka roommate who tells me what to do) and I run 3 miles 1-2 times a week depending on the weather. I know some fitness buffs who would laugh at that plan, but its kind of intense for me. I just want to be more physically attractive I guess. You know, for the ladies.;)

Have a plan involving going several times a week. Haven't been in too long but am off tomorrow.

As someone who befits that other stereotype of the common Internet addict - a pasty-skinned stick - weight training is the priority, but I'm ever so tempted to focus more on cardio, as lung capacity is a bit of a limiting factor in my singing (which, OK, it's just a hobby for me, but it's an important one).

I'm on my feet working all day at my job, and I ride my bike almost every day along with that. I also run as much as possible, as it's fun and it's good cardio.

I'm quite fit, being 5'11" and 140 pounds... That said, while I like being really trim, I wouldn't mind getting some extra muscle mass. My legs are really powerful thanks to the bicycle, but my upper body is a whole other story. I'll probably buy some weights or a home gym once I get the money to do so.

I take the bike everywhere I need to go, so I usually spend at least half an hour on my bike every day. I also do a lot of standing, walking and lifting, both light and heavy, at work. Despite this, I'm completely out of shape when it comes to anything but pedaling my bike. I last about 10 seconds if I try to jog, my arms are like sticks and I'm pasty most everywhere else. I also voted for never seeing the sun, but that's only because I work nights and spend all day sleeping.

I don't go to the gym, tried it, didn't like it. I do quite a lot of walking in the city, and living where I do, it's mostly either up or down various hills. I don't lift weights and haven't done since college, but I'm able to carry more weight in my ruck than most of my friends, including some who do work out at the gym.

The best thing to happen to me weight-wise those has to be moving out of my parents house. When you can't snack at will, it's amazing how quickly the weight drops off ;)

I walk at least 30 min almost every day, kendo 4 times a week, and a lazy fifth practice on sundays. Kyudo on Saturdays, but that's not really exercise. Still... there's room for improvement to my fitness level XP

I try to run when it's warm but usually the motivation escapes me. The 10km run in April though is an annual thing for me.

20 mins of elliptical or other cardio and 30+ mins of yoga three times a week on average. Took me from 220 to 196 in two years. Not in the best shape of my life, but I feel the best overall. It isn't hard. Plus, once I can afford the lightweight road bike I want, I'll ride everywhere when the snow melts.

I used to do some leg and arm exercises, but after spending some time on a college campus that is on a steep hill and being forced to carry a billion things everywhere I don't need any special weight lifting.

I always play sports. This year I tried soccer, but for some reason the team meets at midnight and I can't tolerate that. I did basketball for a while but the coach was fired and I got tired of stupid drills. Now I'm going skiing/snowboarding every weekend. I will never, ever get tired of that, but unfortunately I can't do it in the summer.

I exercise almost every day, but I get a good hard workout in 3-4 times a week. The reg says I have to, but I actually like it. I'm trying to get into a tactical unit so there's added motivation there. For ladies, the trick is exercising to target strength and endurance instead of muscle growth. You'll get some muscle growth, but not so much that you scare people.

I've been aiming for 45 minutes to an hour (depending on which route I choose) of vigorous walking per day; by and large, I've been able to more than exceed that goal barring special factors that might interrupt my normal walking time. That, of course, is in addition to any walking to and from my classes, which adds on a healthy amount in and of itself. I'm definitely getting a good amount of exercise; it's no strenuous regimen, but more than enough to ensure good endurance, regular cardiovascular exercise, and weight control.

When the weather warms up, I'll probably increase it a little because I enjoy walking on warm evenings, but what I'm doing now by is more than enough. Anything extra will be simply because I like it. Am I in shape? I don't know, but I do know I'm more than capable of maintaining a pretty vigorous pace for a long time, so I'd have to say I am, at least from an endurance standpoint.

I don't look very hard, but I've yet to find a form of routine exercise that I don't find incredibly boring. I used to walk around my area by then I ran out of places to walk, the only time I've been out walking in the last few months was on Wednesday when I walked about 19 kilometres to a train station on the other side of the northern suburbs, and that was fun.

I work out. Between working out, having an athletic figure and having good genes...I think I have a pretty good body. Most of my muscles get cut really easily (that means it's sort of hard for me to get BIG but for me to work out the muscles so that they are defined, it's easy). For instance...I'm really working on getting a bigger chest, but I have a 6 pack without doing much.

Also, I walk alot because I don't want to drive aroud campus. I also play sports (though not this year...I wanted to do well in my first year of classes). Basketball and water polo...I'll play again next year. I also go wakeboarding, water skiing and knee boarding, and when my friends get in the mood, in the spring we're gonna hit the beaches and go surfing.

Si. 20 seconds of intense effort followed by 10 seconds of rest for a total of 4 minutes. I put my troops through two hours of them this week. >=)

Some ab variations to try are pathfinder exits (kickouts, balance on your tailbone and kick out with both feet, don't touch the ground. Repeat on each cheek), twist crunches, etc. Anything that works the obliques will help with definition.
