Seems a founder of Greenpeace would have something to say about that. See, Patrick Moore left the group when he claimed it was taken over by political interests and their focus shifted from environmentalism to anti-capitalism. He continues to advocate environmental protection but he and others, environmentalist or not, are concerned about scare tactics and disinformation employed by some within the environmental movement to advance agenda that have little or nothing to do with the environment.

All activity creates waste, what's important is finding the most efficient way to get what we need and want while handling what's left over properly.

FYI, third-world organic subsistance agriculture is shitting where you eat because the organic fertilizer they use is shit. Animal shit is manuer and human shit is night soil and both of these unsanitary practices spread parasites and disease.
