Do people really mean it when they are drunk?

Lets say a drunk total stranger comes onto you, makes the first move, compliments you (you are cute, sexy, hot, etc...) without you having to fish for anything.

Does this count? Or does it count even more than a sober confession since people may let down their guards when they are drunk? Or are they just cheap comments to have sex?

What if they dont remember much the next morning? Let's say I thought someone was really hot but can remember their face only vaguely. But I do remember that I thought they were hot. Does it count? What do you think about all these?

And...What about you? Have you ever come onto someone whom you wouldnt normally consider cute/hot when you were drunk?

My reaction would be, "You're drunk. Go away."

it doesn't count but alcohol amplifies personality traits and such (and if your also drunk your experience may be slightly distorted :p) so its more of an indicator but doesn't again count as anything

also no when drunk I'm far more likely to dick about either making a fool of myself or talking bollocks with some stranger

My reaction would be, "You're drunk. Go away."

I've always wondered why people assume being drunk will improve their chances hell I've had girls all over me but the only thing I can think about is "eww you have had lots of rum" :p

As someone who once came onto my equally pished female best friend when we were really very drunk (stopped before anything serious, which was a Good Thing), I would say that it makes your feelings a bit more... err... shall we say... exaggerated in terms of lust and all of that.

My general feelings of the matter are that if people want to chat each other up when drunk and have sex, that's fine by me, so long as both parties are interested, and it's not just some poor lass getting dragged off against her will.

And personally, I try to avoid that kind of thing in general, because I once did it and was completely lost the next morning. Eugh. To be avoided.

I have no interest in consuming alcohol and becoming drunk (even if it were legal for me to do so). I prefer having control of my mental faculties - and I can give detailed accounts of what my friends did while drunk.

I think that alcohol loosens inhibitions. It really depends on the person's behavior while sober. Consider this - what are the chances that they would want to engage in X activity while sober?

I really mean it when I'm drunk. I've only been thoroughly drunk once, but I remember enough of it to know that:

1. I'm more polite while very intoxicated, and would likely be even more of a gentleman than usual to a lady.
2. I'm very slightly more talkative when somewhat intoxicated. Only close friends would really notice the difference.
3. I'm far more likely to make advances while sober.

Did I run into you at the pub last night or something?

Funny timing though.. I was checking my phone just now, and there are numbers in there of people I don't remember ever meeting.

Or are they just cheap comments to have sex?

There was a country and western song about all the girls in the bar being prettier around closing time. There is the tried an true Air Force saying GUE (go ugly early) so you have a better chance of "getting some." Then there are the times a guy wakes up only to find "she is coyote ugly" so you chew your arm that she is sleeping on off so you don't wake her up and you sneak out.

Drunk compliments are comments made "to have sex."

In Vino Stupidass.

Whether he meant it or not I'd run away. In point of fact, I tend to avoid places where people get drunk.

I find that most drunk people tell the truth. They just exaggerate a lot

is the drunk horny and think you are attractive at that moment?

yes.

does it mean he will still think so when he is sober?

no.

I think it varies from person to person.

Pretty much anything varies from person to person but sometimes we can come up with kinda accurate generalizations.
