NSG pre-Super-Tuesday open general US election

Just to see what the results would be like if the upcoming US election were held here at NSG between now and Tuesday.

Open to all. I've limited the poll to McCain, Rommney, Obama, Clinton, and OTHER, because the minor and 3rd part candidates go far beyond the capacity of Jolt's polling.

Other, albeit I'm undecided about who that is, it being a long way until November.

As of this moment...if it is between Clinton and McCain, I'll probably vote McCain.

If it is Obama vs. McCain then I'm going to have to take a long hard look before deciding.

Are you a naturally born citizen?
Have you been living here for the last 14 years?

No to all...

But please please please vote for me! If you don't like 'em all, just vote for me, I'm sure you'd like me. :D

And hopefully your VP is an American that meets all the above qualifications and can run effectively :D

Obama gets my vote. He's the most left of that rightest bunch.

What about an extremely left (by American standards) socialist Canadian pro-gay marriage pro-choice atheist who is against guns? ;)

I flipped a coin between McCain and Obama...McCain won the toss with heads.

(How, might you ask, did I assign who got what side of the coin? Easy: The animal that symbolizes the democrats is the donkey, which is also referred to as the jackass, or ass. And ass=tail, thus, Obama got tails.)

Heh, don't thank me, I saw NSG nominees for President and just had to search for something that could generate campaign buttons and stuff. Also, whilst I was looking I spotted a newspaper clipping generator. I know the article is rubbish, and I had to make up some nonsensical things, but I have too much time on my hands and couldn't resist. Et voila.

Like I said, Secretary of Badass is open, which is sort of like Secretary of Defense, except better. You're encouraged to incorporate as many badass war cliches in your vocabulary as possible, and are also encouraged to come to Cabinet meetings wearing a badass longcoat (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BadassLongcoat).

Secretary of Partying is also open, and that is self-explanatory. Show up to cabinet meetings, bring drinks, heavy metal music, make sarcastic remarks and jokes.

NSG, has anyone out there heard what his position on gay marriage is? I don't think I could support a candidate who doesn't fully support gay marriage. (Cite your sources, please, and thanks for the help!)

Hmph, I'm swamped campaigning in South Dakota and Liechtenstein right now... will try to get campaigning on NSG. NSG is such a valuable constituency for the presidency...

Oh please, my Siamese would beat yours! She can act cute and cuddly, and she is strong on National Defense! I can't tell you how many toys she chewed up! Beside, she can't talk or many any real decision, all she can do is act cute and unite the nation as they go "awww" when she plays with her catnip mouse!

But she doesn't have an addiction, no sir!

Well. The Supreme Court may consider giving the powers of two Cabinet members dangerous and perhaps even unconstitutional.

But then again, my party's platform is based on not giving a damn, in government and private life! Welcome aboard!

It does make him seem a bit waffley, so I would like to add that as a State Senator he sponsored several anti-discrimination bills, like this one (http://www.ilga.gov/legislation/BillStatus.asp?GA=93&DocTypeID=SB&DocNum=101&GAID=3&SessionID=3&LegID=735)

Well I am pissed. I voted little under a month ago, as an absentee in Illinois, for John Edwards. Well, tada! He isn't running anymore. So how they hell do they plan on counting my vote? Will they throw the whole ballet out?

Probably either a) yes, your vote won't be counted, b) you'll be given a chance to vote again (highly unlikely), or c) you'll go down as undecided.

Don't know for sure, but I'd imagine this kind of situation comes up a lot.
