Sound interesting. "Educational" doesn't turn me off from a game, I just hope it is well done, and not a digital repeat of calculating in feet and programing in meters....

Hmm...if it's free, I'll play it. It should be free too, if the intent is educational.

wonder how they will set it up. would it be going though the trainings to get various positions from Mission Leader to Ground Control?

or are they going to make it where people can travel to the station and possibly to a terraforming (or whatever) base on Mars and possibly beyond?

Me thinks its just a stunt to get the space program back in the mainstream so they can get more money for their programs.

You know, this has been done before, for the Army, with America's Army. It was just an attempt to garner more support from the public, so in the end it could meet its demands, which in the case of the Army would be bodies to send overseas.

Perhaps, but even if that is the case, it's a more than worthy cause. NASA is incredibly important.

Well, the space program could use a lot more public support. There are too many people with ridiculously ignorant attitudes towards NASA and space exploration in general. If I had more free time, I would play this game.

You know everyone who signs up is gonna do it just to try and stage as many "Space Shuttle Accidents" as possible.

actually, I would rather attempt some anatomical docking maneuvers in a Zero-G environment... I just need a partner...

I would want to try to land the Space Shuttle, knowing full well that I only have one shot to make the perfect landing. :)

Probably, you'll spend all your time trying to level up by tightening screws really really slowly in zero gravity, while wearing a very uncomfortable outfit. I wonder if there will be a character class that specializes in figuring out why things don't work. And I wonder if there will be skill levels for using zero-grav toilets?

I wonder if it will have the horrific affects of radiation poisoning (baldness) and have the same crippling loneliness of a space mission

hmmmm...;)

It's all automated.
