Firefighters Unite Against Rudy
I blame 9-11. If it wasn't for 9-11, then those firefighters wouldn't have a reason to hate him.
Also, its my thread now! :)

Firefighters across the United States are joining forces to try to sink Rudy Giuliani's presidential campaign effort.
Some local firefighters said they call his recollections of the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, and promises of fighting terrorism a myth and insult.
A firefighters' union on North Orange Blossom Trail was the first stop in a series of rallies on Tuesday. Members urged voters not to support Giuliani for president.
The rally was organized by the International Association of Firefighters and family members of the victims of Sept. 11.
They said Giuliani is a fraud when he claims to be a leader in the wake of the terrorist attacks, and a liar for claiming to protect firefighters during the excavation of ground zero.
They also said he's weaving a myth on the campaign trail when he claims to have prepared New York City in the wake of the World Trade Center bombing in 1993.
Retired Deputy Fire Chief Jim Riches lost his firefighter son on Sept. 11, 2001.
"The terrorists killed my son, but Rudy Giuliani gave us bad respirators, which caused many first responders to get sick and die. We had to fish human remains out of the garbage dump, and also he had failures in communication in everything else that did lead to unnecessary deaths ... down there of civilians and firemen because his administration failed to heed the warnings of '93," Riches said.
Giuliani was endorsed last week by a national organization of state police during a visit to Walt Disney World.
The group said the No. 1 reason they're backing him is that he's the best candidate to improve national security.
As for the firefighters' claim, a Giuliani spokesman said they're simply an arm of the Democratic Party.

Not to mention that his policies were deliberately aimed at driving poor people out of NYC and making welfare recipients into the state of indentured servants.

Why waset torpedos sinking a leaky ship?
Hes already toast but too stubborn to give up. But its nice to see even more negative reactions to him. Hes an idiot.

Huh, you'd think a thrice married, catholic, cross-dressing, New Yorker whose own family (or families) hate him would be more popular with republicans on the national stage. Go figure.

One union that they don't even name and a retired fighter as the sources for such a headline? Crazy.

ill bring the popcorn :D
Why doesn't the article mention the other great things that Rudy has done for us. Like preventing us from getting jobs after retirement by refusing to allow us to put our FDNY experience on resumes. Like paying us some of the lowest wages for firefighters in the U.S.. Like, against the overwhelming majorities wishes, over hiring and creating situation where much needed overtime is non-existent. And finally, like fucking up our dispatch/radio system with a capital F.

If such a butt ugly man can get married not once, but three times, as well as have mistress I think we should perhaps worship his ubermanliness.

I dunno, I see alot of support for Rudy here in Florida. Esspecially from all the New Yorkers that haven't seen NYC since they left in the 70's and 80's.
However, I'm usually very wrong.
as we know from recent votes, the polls can be very wrong. but with other candidates campaigning and rudy coming in behind ron paul in every vote so far, he may have made a losing bet on skipping the first few races.

indeed he should be great inspiration to all our nsg members who think that they will never get a date. if HE can get 3 women to marry him, i think they can get ONE to say yes to dinner and a movie.

all you need now is a bad comb-over...
Seriously...did Rudy honestly think that his self-promoting bullshit about 9/11 would win him friends and support?
Did he honestly think NYC first-responders wouldn't call him out on what he really did that day, as well as his detrimental policies as Mayor?
We all knew it was crap the moment he opened his mouth...and the primary numbers illustrate this quite well.
Hope it was a fun ride, Rudy...it's gonna end real soon.

Link (http://news.yahoo.com/s/wesh/20080122/lo_wesh/15111568)They've been complaining about him for a while, it's just that no one seems to care enough to hear them. Rudy was out getting pictures taken with approving Firefighters all over the place, so long as it wasn't New York.

If you are referring to my headline, I did not say "All Firefighters", so my headline is correct.

He only has one state left to "carry". If he doesn't, he's finished.

Good riddence to a vile man, crappy leader, and bad politician.
I still think it would be really funny if Giuliani won the Florida primary (despite having finished behind Ron Paul three times already).
That would mean that still no republican had strung together 2 big victories.

I was hoping Giuliani would win the Republican nomination and then split the Republican vote...but whatever..
But 9/11, Giuliani is 9/11 the best 9/11 candidate 9/11 because 9/11.
