So what games that are in production, Alpha or Beta testing that you are looking forward to being released? Personally I am looking forward to Microsoft Train Simulator X or 2 (http://www.tsinsider.com/en-US/Pages/default.aspx). However it won't be released until 2009, which sucks, but that's ok. It's being developed by the same people who created Flight Simulator X and they did a great job, so I can't wait to see how they do with MSTS-X.

What about you guys?

Fable 2, Mass Effect sequels (yeah I know it's gonna be a while), Guild Wars 2 or Age of Conan for your MMO needs, maybe Empire: Total War for my strategy needs but I never played Medieval 2 so it's not a must-have for me.

Not a single new and interesting game is about to be released.

Perhaps the "biggest" expectations I have are for a possible next expansion to NwN2. :(

Super Smash Bros Brawl*
No More Heroes
Advance Wars: Dark Conflict*^
Final Fantasy Tactics A2

And probably the Okami port.

I'm going to be very broke this year.

*by the time the game, or even the release date comes out in my country I'll probably have died of old age

AND WHEN THE HELL IS DUKE NUKEM COMING OUT?!!?!?!
Never.

Spore, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Soul Caliber IV are the three I’m looking forward to most, though I’m interested to see what they’ll do with Fable 2.

Will Wright has confirmed (http://www.xspore.com/release_date.html) Spore is on schedule and to be released Spring 2008. The actual date (rumoured to be around March 3rd) will be announced in the next few days. You can already pre-order the game from some places.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena and the proper sequel after that that have been hinted at. Riddick was an excellent game that didn't get nearly the recognition it deserved, at least not outside the gaming press. I'm hoping they have better luck this time, and that the game is good of course. Hopefully we'll see more engine upgrades than we did in The Darkness, the game Starbreeze did right after Riddick, which looked a bit dated and not that much better than Riddick.

Rez, a classic that I missed back in the Dreamcast days and that I think would suit me perfectly. It's going to be released soon and for a cheap price on Xbox Live Arcade. I just gotta get me that Xbox now.

Deus Ex 3. It could still be good! Deus Ex 2 had some excellent new ideas mixed in with all the unfinished and unpolished. Hopefully the new devs that are working on the third game will be more conservative and create a game that they know will work, and cherry pick the good things from both games.

Mirror's Edge, because the concept is so interesting and because I trust the developer.

And I guess Rage too, because I'm curious about what id will do to make their new engine more flexible and developer friendly. It would be really good if Epic's Unreal Engine got some proper competition again. I was never a fan of the Unreal Engine, and UE3 has been a downright disaster.

There's probably a lot more that I want, but I can't think of them right now.

Off the top of my head, Resistance FoM II and HL2: Episode 3.

I imagine there are some for PC as well, but until I can afford a decent computer to run them on, which will somewhere between now and 2010 (when I graduate), it's an abstract question. Good luck running anything on a laptop Pentium M...although by 2010, those quad-cores (or octo-cores, omg) should be pretty damn nice.

San Andreas and Vice City are sequels of GTA III, yeah it's confusing, but GTA IV is coming out in April.
