It looks like Mc. Cain won the Republican South Carolina Primaries, Huckabee came in second. I think that's just great because I am not a big fan of Huckabee.

Good. Huckabee is now dead by losing a major evangelical state.

Giuliani devoted alot of time and money to Florida. Don't count him out yet.

yeah

but he needs a very big win in florida. close second wont be good enough. he is already too far behind.

It DID knock out Thompson. He said that if he didnt come in first or a close second, he'd drop out. He came in third

has he conceded yet?

he should concede. he has had a miserable showing so far with tonights 16% being his very best.

good for me, if Thompson drops out, he's probably going to endorse McCain

Nah, I think Thompson's more in bed with the Evangelicals. Huckabee will get Thompson's endorsement, for whatever it's worth.

What will we do now that Hunter is out of the race?

Panic?

Burn Couches?

Eat Muffins?

The amount of delegates in Iowa, New Hampshire, Wyoming, Michigan and Nevada mean nothing compared to the super Tuesday states like New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and a whole bunch of others that are in Rudy's league.

Florida is also a winner take all state, so if he wins, all the others get nothing.

I think you are both 'correct'

*Puts on prophesy hat*

When Thompson drops, he endorses McCain, but 75% of Thompson supporters go to Hackabee's camp...

*Puts on prophesy hat again*

Seeing a McCain/Huckabee ticket next Fall, getting far more votes than expected for a Republican ticket this time last year... Independents going for McCain, AND the Evangelicals joining up for the Huckabee name...
