Nevada Democratic Caucasus Results
http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/state/#NV
Currently, with twenty-six percent of the precincts results in, Clinton holds fifty-three percent, while Obama holds forty-four percent, and Edwards three percent.
Frankly, I am disgusted by these results. Clinton and Obama's percentages ought to be reversed, but that's the way people are choosing for you.
I'm confused, shouldn't it be Democratic Cuckoos?
(sorry! couldn't resist just as you predicted :P :D)

Are we gonna have a thread not only on every one of these mock elections, but also on each party's individual results as well? Good grief...

The Democrats will court votes ANYWHERE. There must be some prisoners in that region that haven't been signed up to vote yet...

I agree, if she is nominated, then the Republican will win. Even if she's just VP the Republican will win.

Then as a Republican, you should be cheering for the nomination of Clinton for the Democrats?
I will be voting for Dr. Paul in the Republican primaries.
Hmmmmm. What about Hilary then?
So, as much as it pains me to say it, Clinton would be my Democratic Selection.
Hmmmmm. :D

I am not a Republican. Michigan primary law states that anyone can vote in either primary, regardless of registration.

I prefer Paul over any other candidate. I am a realist, however. Dr. Paul has as much a chance of winning the Republican nomination as you do of going to the Us and buying an AR-15.
Hmmmmm. :D
I've changed my mind since then. I'm partial to Mr. Obama. Mrs. Clinton seems rather artificial to me after seeing her speeches and the debates.
Oh, and it's awfully sad that you would go through posts months old to prove...what, exactly? You'd think a man like yourself would have better things to do then chase an American college student around the internet with a flashlight in your hand.

Clinton is the real deal, and I think that bothers conservatives. Obama would get his ass whupped.

I just remembered a few things you had stated before and was bringing them back for your clarification. It wasn't difficult, just a few key words and a couple of clicks.

I disagree. Clinton is simply a Neo-Conservative in sheep's clothing. She is far too divisive to attract the 20% of independant voters that actually decide elections. I simply don't see how she could pull it off.

CNN shows Obama having 13 delegates to Clinton's 12.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I pointed it out to my parents(they're Clinton supporters and I'm an Obama supporter) and they waved their hands in dismissal and said the vote counted for more.
But since Nevada is not going blue this election(which I also pointed out) it is meaningless. They told me to go away, which meant I got through to them and they didn't like it. :D

That's the impression I got. The total number of Republican primary voters was roughly 3x that of the total of Democratic ones.

Well, well, this makes it two wins and one tie for Obama. When Edwards bows out, expect his delegates to go to Obama.

Indeed exactly so. CH, please note that it is Obama pulling the independents and even republicans, not Clinton. The Dems will hand the GOP the election if they nominate Billary again.

Nevada isn't meaningless, as every Obama win helps to stave off the disasterous nomination of Clinton.

I think it would be more difficult for Obama to get the necessary Southern votes?

I didn't mean it was meaningless in a primary sense. I meant that the number of votes over Obama was meaningless in a general election sense.

Nope two wins - Iowa (16, 15, and 14) and Nevada (13 and 12), 1 tie - New Hampshire (9 and 9).

Not compared with Clinton. A Clinton nomination would be a disaster.

I'm really not surprised by the Republican results. This will likely be the only state where Ron Paul comes in second.
We're kinda weird here.
I went to caucus for Obama today. Since there were so few for Kucinich and Edwards in our precinct, his supporters actually joined our group.
The majority of voters for Hillary were all women, and submissive men who are doing what their wives are telling them to do. :p
I hope Kucinich and Edwards rally their supporters behind Obama. This is quite a fight.
But since Nevada is not going blue this election(which I also pointed out) it is meaningless. They told me to go away, which meant I got through to them and they didn't like it. :D
I would NOT say that. Nevada now has more registered Dems than Gopers and it swings wildly around depending upon how Vegas is feeling about things and if enough people in the cow counties show up.

It was a battleground state the last time around, but with 5 electoral votes...
Still, it's not either a red state or a blue state, we Nevadans are an ornery bunch that go our own way depending upon a lot of things, including which candidate can say the state's name right. ;)
