White House admit they have successfully lost anything related an investigation.
Ok, so the way to just do shit and never take responsibility is two fold. First, "I do not recall" is an answer for any question. Next, "oops, my bad I lost it" is also a great tactic for not turning over any information that may show you to have done something wrong. As long as you can keep saying you're too stupid to remember what you've done or where you've put anything you can get away with anything. This is of course in reaction to the newest revelation that, "lucy, we did it again!" Our politicians are full of shit and don't want to get to the bottom of anything. If Obama or McCain can actually change the way the SOP goes then great. They are really the only hope. The sooner we can put this failed administration to be the better. "Do you know where we put the launch codes?" Flipping asshats.
Our politicians are full of shit and don't want to get to the bottom of anything.
No, all politicians are full of shit. They're politicians. In the countless millennia since their integration into human society, that fact hasn't changed one iota, and isn't likely to change in the foreseeable future.

Remember when they kept losing Bush's unfinished guard records?
Lost ... found ... lost again ... found to be BURNED and DESTROYED on the "single disc" .... found again?
...then nothing.

Let's not forget the blank moments on the Nixon Tapes too. This isn't anything new.
"I don't particularly like it when people put words in my mouth, either, by the way, unless I say it." --George W. Bush, Crawford, Texas, Nov. 10, 2007
I thought it was applicable.

See in my line of work you got to keep repeating things over and over and over again for the truth to sink in, to kind of catapult the propaganda.

It reminds me of whatching BatMan the movie as a kid. "Somebody stop me!"Sure that that wasn't The Mask?

yes, but Nixon would have been impeached for it. As it was he was forced to resign because he knew that in the eye of the public he was screwed. Bush just doesn't give a flying F. He knows that in the court of public opinion he's screwed, but he just keeps flipping America the bird. It reminds me of whatching BatMan the movie as a kid. "Somebody stop me!"

Nixon was being impeached till he resigned. He was not forced but he realized that if he did not resign, he would have been the first president to be impeached AND thrown out of office.
